I am a 32 year old gay South African male.

I've always had the travel bug and have always enjoyed experiencing a different country, the art, people and culture. Seeking hidden gems and discovering the history that makes a country so unique.

Some of the countries I've visited have been Germany, specifically Berlin (I hope to go back and experience it again) Spain, Barcelona which was just beautiful and warm with the friendliest people and such a lively atmosphere, I definitely want to go back and I have had the pleasure of living in Amsterdam. Truly Amsterdam is a city I would live in again in the future. The Dutch just say it like it is and I appreciated that about them.

I would definitely say I am a people person, always keen on meeting new people and making new friends, I know my fellow CouchSurfers would agree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to be able to see Ireland in all it's wonder and what better way to do it than through the locals. I am extroverted and eager to meet new people and I've always wanted to go on a real traveling adventure and stick myself deep within the culture of a country or city.

Interests

I enjoy going on hikes, being in the outdoors, and experiencing the landscape, but im just as at home indoors, reading a good book or watching a movie or evening playing a game.

Visiting museums, art galleries, and historic sites are a must for me. Museums are an escape to the past, seeing all of it, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I've always been of live music and festivals, I enjoy the atmosphere and the fact you will definitely make a new friend before the festival is over.

Photography for me is having fun and taking real candid shots. Nothing to overly fancy, though I do enjoy experimenting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the opportunity to do a tree top zip line in 2 provinces in South Africa and I've slept under the stars in a Game Park.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am extremely neat and always happy to help around the house.
I am domesticated and can cook pretty well.
I have pet sit in the past and able to look after animals with the love and attention they require.
