Hey I’m Jason He, born and raised in China. I came over to America for high school and I’m currently attending Yale University. Studying abroad opened up the world to me, and I have since learnt to adapt to new environments, meet amazing strangers, and immerse in local culture. Always excited for adventures!

My friends and I are traveling around Europe for high school graduation. We wanna meet cool, more experienced travelers, to have a good time and learn about the world. Also I am planning to solo travel in the future, so the app would come in handy.

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I stan more cutting edge and personal music. Lately I’ve been listening to industrial rap such as JPEGMAFIA. But I also enjoy the classics. David Bowie and Elton John are cool. A saxophone player myself, I listen to a lot of jazz. Would love to exchange playlists and concert anecdotes!

Movies I like are often rough & raw, i.e. Pulp Fiction and Big Lebowski. Love Tarantino and Cohn Brothers.

My favorite author is Patrick Modiano. Any book with memories, magical realism, and history interests me. From my movie taste, you probably figured that I like Gonzo journalism too. Hit me with book recs!
