Daniel Kehlmann and Hermann Hesse are my favorite authors. Kehlmann writes dialogues with so much cynicism and subliminal antipathy in them, that you often don’t know if it’s time to laugh or time to shiver.
Hesse is a classic. Germany’s contribution to the world collection of books which make you think that there is something more to find out in this world and that travelling is a tool to get this essence of life.
