Hi, I am a Taiwanese Canadian currently residing in Taichung City, Taiwan. I did my Bachelor and Master in Vancouver Canada and now I have moved back to Taiwan.

I am an entrepreneur, college design instructor, and a ballroom dance teacher. I am also a Toastmaster and I like to meet new people around the world and hopefully one day to backpack to other places as well.

I am a beer person, so feel free to bring the beer from your country if the airline permits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once brought my bike and traveled alone to Jasper National Park in British Columbia, Canada. During the trip I biked to many places and got exhausted so I decided to hitchhike back to downtown Jasper, and fortunately, I got a truck driver who was willing to take me back.

When I waved goodbye to the truck after arriving downtown Jasper, I realised I left my backpack in the truck (all my passport, wallet, train ticket, camera were in the backpack) and the truck was already 200 meters away from me. Without second thought, I jump on to my bike, spring all the way with maximum speed, passing all the red lights. Luckily, the moment the truck turns left onto the highway, I caught them and screamed....and then I got my backpack back. That was the craziest thing I have done, and something I will never forget in my life.

Life is a journey and there are many routes you can take. Sometimes when you take different routes, you experience something different and something new, and that's what life is about. Don't stay in your comfort zone, go out and enjoy the adventure.
