Overview
About Me
American doctoral student in French literature! Born and raised my whole life in Los Angeles, except for the time I spent in France, so a huge Californian I guess. Good-natured, talkative, and well balanced.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Spending two months in Quebec. Hoping to meet people and to speak French again (haven't really spoken it much since leaving France).
Interests
Used to go biking a lot back in France--from the city the the French countryside every morning and back. Shame I can't do that much in Los Angeles (there's no space to bike), but hopefully getting back into that soon. Oh, and I read a lot of literature too (it's my job I guess).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went mushroom picking in the French wilderness....the deep French wilderness in Auvergne. Not a single person around for miles, and lost around the mountains for a few hours. Found some good mushrooms after wandering around for a few hours though!
