Hi, I’m Jason from the Philippines. 🇵🇭

I’m a business owner who tries to travel a few times a year whenever I can. These days, I enjoy a slower kind of travel — spending time in cafés, reading, exploring neighborhoods, and simply experiencing a place as it is.

I’m really into tennis at the moment 🎾 I play casually but train regularly, and when I travel, I try to find local courts and hit with people when I can.

I also enjoy running 🏃🏻‍♂️, good specialty coffee ☕️ or matcha 🍵, and meaningful conversations. I’d say I’m an ambivert — I enjoy connecting with people but also appreciate quiet time and space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s been 10 years since I last used Couchsurfing, and the way I travel has evolved. I’d like to return to a more local and immersive way of traveling — meeting people, slowing down, and experiencing places in a more personal and meaningful way.

- Exchange student in Lille, France for 5 months, traveling across Europe and meeting people from different cultures

- Hiking every day in the Faroe Islands — a quiet, raw experience that gave me a strong sense of solitude and independence
