Overview
About Me
28 year old clean, friendly guy who loves to travel the world and equally loves meeting new people. I live primarily in Utah and got a degree in ceramic arts and chemistry. Ive been a practicing ceramic artist for the last 13 years and dabble in woodworking, glass blowing, and traditional forms of art. I love the outdoors and camping. I love mountains and kayaking. I love new foods and new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My oldest brother has always hosted couch surfers in his home and I have had the pleasure of meeting many people from all over the world and all walks of life through him and this website. Recently I just got done with a month long trip across Europe and realized the best part of it all was meeting the people and getting to know the local restaurant, sights, and activities you wouldnt find on an internet search. Couchsurfing allows you to meet new people and makes any travel destination more authentic and cheaper to boot.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not much for movies...I try not to spend too much time with TV or movies. But I do love movies that make you think.
Books: I tend to stay within the science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction genre for the most part but I will read any book that is well written and has beautiful structure and eloquence.
Music: anything but country music. I grew up playing the cello for 14 years.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ive actively been involved in personal chemistry research for the past 7 years into the chemistry of an artistic process called American Saggar. Its been pretty awesome working on it and I've gotten to submit scientific papers and publish in journals as well as create educational materials for class instructions. I can quite literally say I am doing things in this process that no one else in the world has ever done and the end results are some pretty beautiful pieces of pottery.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes. Everyone has something to share and I think people are inherently cool. Im sure there will be plenty of mutual interests and things to glean from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
