About Me
Like many before me, I teach English in Japan. I love my community, my kids, and my coworkers. It's a time-consuming, tiring job, but it's fulfilling, and that's something I had never experienced at work before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to meet some interesting people that may offer me a view I've possibly never seen or considered, be they my guest or my host.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've got 57 days of music and listen to all of it, so... (I'm always looking for more, from anywhere, in any language)
As for movies, I'm down for pretty much anything.
Books are pretty much the same, so long as it's fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hiked up an active volcano and I've got the chunk of sulfur I chipped from a vent to prove it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're not American, teach me about your culture, your language, anything at all that will broaden my worldview. If you are American, share your travel stories with me, stories of times when your eyes were opened to the world beyond the fifty states.
I in turn can share my own stories of living abroad and being punched in the dick by little runts in between classes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You're free to use the basics: shower, cookware, bed, so on. Oh, and the wifi.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Jamaica, Mexico
Countries I’ve Lived In
