Overview
About Me
I am a Canadian that is currently completing a PhD through the University of Zurich but I live in Lugano. I love to travel and explore new areas. I am very friendly, outgoing and social. I like to learn and talk with people from different cultures and have great conversations. I like to discuss politics, economics and current events. Of course workers rights as well! I really enjoy discovering new cafes and I also like having a beer...or two :)
I can also give social media links if needed :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always wanted to try it, and now with the pandemic it's much more difficult to do the traditional hostel/hotel and meet people when you are travelling solo. I am also excited to hopefully make some awesome connections and meet people from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of different music for me (from classical to techno), but I feel I must go with 90's pop overall. My favourite movie is probably Good Will Hunting and enjoy classical literature. I like Dostoyevsky and also Steinbach.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably move across the world...

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can have great conversations, I literally can find interest in almost any topics and anyone. I can help clean, make food (although not great, maybe I'll buy take-out) for you and bring a welcoming gift. I'm also very laid back and usually up for anything!
