Overview
About Me
My name is Jason, and I am preparing to move to Portland, Maine, from North Carolina. I have spent my career as a professional old time multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, as well as music educator. As I become acquainted with Portland and its arts community, I would love to make some new friends along the way.
I am a mentally and physically healthy person, a clean and responsible adult, and an outgoing, creative presence. Looking forward to this new adventure, and to meeting kindred spirits along the way.

Currently reading Banjo: America's African Instrument, Hillbilly Elegy, and The Underground Railroad.

Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to teach music to people, and love learning anything arts-oriented--crafts, new places to eat and enjoy music. I'm also really handy and can help with those small home projects that have been nagging at you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music lessons, great conversation, and local craft brew.
