I'm an old soul. Good vibes only. I grew up in Oklahoma in a small town of about 300. I graduated with 15 people in my class. Two weeks after graduating high school I got into the oilfield and I've been doing it ever since. I'm getting pretty burnt out with my occupation. Working 14 hrs a day, for 20-30 days at a time is getting rather old. I plan on traveling the world soon and I just came across this website through a video on youtube. I figured why not make a profile and see where it takes me. At the moment I'm saving money so I can make my transition out. I have an idea for my own business, but I also want to travel the world. A few years back I had an idea of traveling basically just off the goodness of people's generosity and make a documentary by filming my adventure to show that there is still indeed good people in the world. Let's be honest, with everything you hear about in the news and the direction everything seems to be heading towards, it doesn't seem like there's much good left in the world. But I know that isn't true. There are still a lot of good caring people who have compassion, love and empathy in their hearts. Search and you shall find. Almost everything you're looking for can first be found within yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seems like a good idea. I've been all over the United States. I want to see what the rest of the world is like, different cultures, views of life and the way people live.

I love the cold and the mountains, but likewise I also love the beach and warm weather. I want to scuba dive and explore the ocean more. I've done quite a bit of hiking all across the mountains of the United States. I would like to hike mountains in other parts of the world as well. Haven't explored any jungles besides Hoh rainforest in Washington state, but that's not a real jungle haha. Would love to see volcanos as well and get to see magma flowing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accepted Jesus Christ. Nothing is more important. There's plenty of other things, but nothing beats this in my opinion. I do not push my faith on anyone. I just always try and do what is right and do it with love. If people are open to discussion, I am more than happy to give my testimony of what brought me to the truth of Jesus Christ. If not, I do not push it.
