About Me
I'm excited to kick off my long term traveling plans. I love visiting new places and seeing how different the world is versus where I'm from in the United States. I think everyone is more connected than we give ourselves credit for...
I think food is the love language between most if not all cultures! To try different cuisines is to take the first step into knowing a culture (at least for me it is). From learning behind the scene kitchen hacks to knowing the produce that is both native and in-season to a country is an enlightening experience. That's why wherever I visit, I can't help but talk about food.
I thoroughly enjoy meditation. In the past years, I started meditating and learning more about the topic with books such as The Mind Illuminated. It's amazing how hard it actually is to not only make your mind still but to keep it still. Often time I like to casually walk outside for the purpose of finding a nice spot to sit down, catch my breathe, and be present to the moment.
Other interests include: cooking, hiking, digital marketing, reading, tv show binging, coding, bullet journaling, nutrition, teaching, videogames, composing/playing music, science

Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
I'm not a terrible cook and I can introduce you to some Vietnamese dishes that I grew up with. Otherwise, I can show you how to better prepare your food or improve your technique
LEARN
I want to learn more about the cuisine, the ingredients, the traditions, and how it fits into the family household. Couple this with historical and societal context, then you're sending me on an adrenaline filled roller coaster called "Expand My Horizon"
