Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the fullest and gain as much knowledge about both the world and myself as I can.
ABOUT ME
I am a very down to earth person who is able to adapt to any and almost any situation that is presented to me. I tend to make other people around me feel good about their day and am always down to have a good time. Im extremely low maintenance and am pretty much always in a positive mood.
PHILOSOPHY
The journey is the destination.
Each person may just be a tiny speck on a small marble in the universe, yet each one of these "specks" is entirely different with their own idea's and thoughts's; that is what makes humankind so unique and special.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing and meeting people to share cultural ideas and to help others and myself grow as people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but I have many friends who have said that CSing made their trips that much more enjoyable.
Interests
I like to find the adventure in life. Whether that be walking around a town in which I do not know the local language, or hiking my local State Park. I love to meet new people and learn about their life experiences. When in a new place or city that I am unfamiliar with, I like to find some local person and ask them what they do for fun. I'd much rather experience a place the way the locals do, not the way the tour book tells me to. I am a big believer in the quote by Robert Louis Stevenson, “There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.”

I listen to many types of music from jazz and blues, to rock and electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunrise at the ancient fort Masada in the Negev Desert above the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea. It was empowering climbing/sprinting up the steep ramp built by the Romans in sheer darkness around 4 am, to make it to the top to watch the sunrise shed light across the desert valley below.
Camping in the mists of winter in the mountains of Western Maryland, staring at the star filled sky while sitting around a bond fire with my best friends. It was cool to be out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to guide us but the stars. It made me reflect on how people were able to navigate without modern day equipment and luxuries that we have today.
