Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world, not with museums, but through the people
ABOUT ME
My whole life I have been described as an empathetic and sharing person, the way I see it, if something is cool enough that I enjoy it, won't other people want to as well? I sometimes get lost in my thoughts and can be very tranquil, but have a whole other side where I love to party and get a little crazy too. My pursuit is to achieve balance in all aspects of life, and I recognize the importance of viewing all sides of an argument before coming to a conclusion.
PHILOSOPHY
I travel to visit and see real people in real places, outside of the fancy hostels & resorts where you can really get a feel for the world you live in. I strive to live by the golden rule
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently traveling throughout Europe, focused in Spain... when I return to Texas i'll have a couch open
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was used to travelling and going the hostel route, which i still enjoy, but after only my first couple of experiences CS'ing I will never travel another way if i can avoid it. Having someone open up their house and life to you is quite humbling and each time i am reminded that we do live in an amazing world.
Interests
I stay active and practice some form of exercise regularly be it biking, running, swimming at the beach. When back in Austin I love getting on the lake to wakeboard and jetski. It seems like i've spent half of my life in a tent, and will never have enough of camping. History is another strong interest of mine, and really get to work it out when I am travelling throughout the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally when I am alone I listen to a large variety of more classic rock or mellow music. Although I enjoy various electronics when i'm in the right situation. I really enjoy all sorts and styles, from Biggie to the Beatles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In one sentence: Ice-pick climbing on a glacier.
My two week trip to alaska was by far the most amazing travelling experience i've been fortunate to have. Grizzly bears, moose, mountains, orcas, and even some very strange humans! The most amazing scenery in America, always my most recommended trip for anyone I meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a willing and able chef, spreading love through food.
