ABOUT ME

I'm a Korean who has lived in the States for a pretty long time since I was starting to figure out how to crawl and returned back to my home country when I was still a little kid. I've experienced life as most Koreans have only with another tongue as a backup.

I love meeting new people especially people from different cultures. I've had penpals all over the world when penpalling was still a cool thing to do. Now it seems the world has changed a bit. But the people haven't. They're still the most awesome species on the planet.

I enjoy grabbing a beer with friends and just chatting and chilling. I'm an easy going person. I love new experiences whatever they might be :)

Life is long and full of surprises.
And being young is the biggest gift in the universe. So just keep that spirit young and adventurous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted quite a lot of people now. And am still going strong! Each experience has been different and so much fun. So hit me up whenever you need a place to stay in Seoul.

Up till now I have only hosted people. But now I am going on my own trip around the world. I hope to meet all my friends I've met through couchsurfing.

Interests

I am very fond of music. I mostly listen to rock, alternative and indie. I also love electronic music. I'm not much of a performer but I love to listen and search for new gigs. If there are any shows or festivals I'm sure to be there:)

I'm also pretty athletic. I love anything on a board. Snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing you name it. Recently I've gotten into fitness. I'm always hitting the gym or swimming. Also trying out calisthenics.

I absolutely adore animals. Just seeing them alive and healthy takes my breath away!

My major is electronical engineering and I studied in a lab working on biomimetic robots which are mechanisms that are inspired by nature. A promising and interesting field with endless potential. We are long from harnessing nature's inspirations.
