ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old and currently attending college to pursue an Education and English Degree. My plan is to continue on with University and eventually become an English Professor. During the summer break I work for a landscaping and irrigation company. Some of my hobbies are drumming, cooking, gardening, reading classic English Literature and keeping active in the gym. I am fascinated with nature and absolutely love experiencing new scenery such as trees in their natural setting. Travelling has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. In the past I have visited Haiti, Australia, Mexico, Western Canada, and the USA.

PHILOSOPHY

C.S Lewis said it best: "Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither".

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to begin on the books... I am in love with old English literature from the 1800's to the 1960's. Some of my favourite authors are Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G Wells, C.S Lewis, Roald Dahl, Robert Louis Stevenson among many others.
I love any music, as long as it is passionate and made with precision and talent. I like Sublime, Bob Marley, In Flames, Flight of the Conchords, Franz Ferdinand, of Montreal, Rilo Kiley, Deathcab for Cutie and many more...
When it comes to movies, I enjoy Comedies, Thrillers, Action, pretty much anything with a compelling story line and interesting characters. Detective TV shows are my favourite, with Psych being my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Haiti a few years ago on a mission trip. It was an amazing experience being immersed in such a different culture and being surrounded by people who are so poor, yet so happy. It puts into perspective the things that really matter in life.
