CURRENT MISSION

My current mission in life is to do my best at whatever it is at the moment. I'm also working on what my plan will be for the next 40 years of life! Maybe get that architecture degree?! But also a goal is probably to ride my motorcycle around the world. We'll see.

ABOUT ME

I am a teeny tiny bit shy at first. . .but quickly warm up and am a smart jovial fella! I can be be professional or completely redunkulous!! I'm the oldest of 5 kids. . . Irish Catholic. Am hard working and trustworthy, kind of an old boy scout. lol.

Work hard. Play hard. Love hard.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Simple.
.........well simple to say. lol I have definitely mellowed in the past few years and really appreciate the people of the world more and more. I've been a late bloomer in many facets of life but believe I get kinder with age.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In general I'm a kind heart and the first to lend a hand. I have opened my home to many strangers, friends of friend, or friends of family through the years. I have participated locally with quite a few CS meetups and have made life long friends for sure from here! I envision meeting many people as I surf my way around the world. But as it often goes I tend to host much more than surf. I am however working on those priorities so I can get out there More!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an older profile because I surfed more before moving to Flagstaff but somehow it got botched/hacked. So building anew!
I met some really great folks on CS in 2016-2018!.
I hosted Herb from the Netherlands. Great fella and another great visit. Some Of the folks I have met I am in contact regularly on FB or email. Seeing them back home with new children etc.
Since moving to Flagstaff I have made friends with a great group of locals that all participate in CS!

Interessen

I love chocolate cake and icecream!! I love motorcycles and adventure moto travel. I also enjoy outdoor sports like snowboarding, sailing (when near water. lol) and camping. I like handicrafts, and am an artisian in my own right. Meeting new people and love to learn new things!

Ive been to most all of the states by motorcycle. HEading to Alaska and the Yukon summer '22!!

I really started listening to podcasts a lot the past few years. I love learning new things. I am really addicted to true crime type stories.

Had a great Christmas holiday riding my motorcycle solo through Baja and Mainland Mexico. Camping on beaches and sleeping under the stars among the cactus.
