ABOUT ME

I am a laid back chap in my late twenties that exists somewhere between introversion and extroversion. I really enjoy meeting new people, and enjoy the occasional death-defying opportunity. But, on the other hand, I enjoy sitting back and watching the world with my trademark smirk. I love hearing other people's stories.

I've been a fair bit around the world by this point. For both pleasure and mission purposes, the€ mission being to love on the hurt and destitute. I am a Christian, and love my Lord, but I promise I won't push my faith on anyone. I'd love to hear your thoughts on life, the universe, and everything, but certainly won't push the matter. Really, I just enjoy loving on people, serving, and having a good time. :)

I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, going for a run, encouraging, loving-on, making new friends, rock climbing, the ocean, mountains!, ALL manners of food, relaxing, camping, hiking, biking, chatting, listening, stroking my beard thoughtfully, acting half my age, acting twice my age, playing the piano and guitar, singing, swimming, canoeing (own two), reading, serving, hanging out, climbing trees in a storm, and going places with nary a plan. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I married the coolest woman in the world.

I lived in the slums of Manila, Philippines, and was privileged to love on a dying woman and her family. She passed away, and I stayed with them up to the burial. They asked me to speak the final night of her wake. It was a tremendous honor.

I've hiked into the mountains of Ooty, India and lived with a tribe.

I've stood on the cliffs of Northern Ireland and spoke with God as the birds and winds swirled around me in a sublime marvel.

I've stared out from the top of the 101 building in Taiwan over a beautiful city accenting the dark sky.

I've sailed to an island and was the first American to ever step foot on the island and live with the people, and the first white person in over 100 years.

I've been so blessed to see and do so much in my short, young life.
