I'm very new to Couch Surfing, and eager to meet some great people.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jason. I'm Filipino/Irish and I was born in the Philippines. I've also lived in Indonesia and Australia (where I am now). I love travelling and I've been to a lot places around the world, but there are so many more that I haven't been to, yet.

On a personal level, I would consider myself to be very considerate, caring, and a bit of a geek. Or maybe a lot of a geek :-) I love anything to do with computers, tech, or science. But I also love sports, the outdoors, and food. I'm generally a fairly quiet guy, and I don't go out to pubs/clubs/parties much. I prefer hanging out and chatting, whether at home, a cafe, restaurant, or wherever.

I'm hoping to do a lot more travelling over the next couple of years, and I decided to check out CS as a way to meet some interesting people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm totally new to CS, but I love the concept. I love travelling and meeting travellers. For now, I'm looking to host people as they travel through Sydney. Hopefully, within a year or two, I will be starting my own big travelling trip, and I'm looking forward to meeting some great CS hosts when I do :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never really CouchSurfed before, but I did spend close to a year backpacking (mostly Europe) and I loved it. One of the best things about it was getting to meet so many great and interesting people. I'm hoping that CouchSurfing will provide similar experiences.
