I enjoy traveling while connecting with other travelers or adventurers. I find that by sharing space and time, we connect deeper with people, creating new, interesting and deep friendships. Our mission on CS is to connect people with people and us!

ABOUT ME

I'm a poet, musician, engineer and gardener. I love people and have many great relationships. I have a wonderful partner with whom I experience the many beauties of life. I teach and study yoga, math, music (I'm a song-writer and love to jam), I have an older sister and most of my family are from Florida and south Georgia. I was born in Jacksonville, FL and grew up in the south, have travelled some and spent 3 months in Peru which changed my life. Ask me and I will tell you more.

PHILOSOPHY

All people and all religions on this earth are one and of the same. The sooner we realize that, the better we and the world become. I live my life in a way that connects me deeper with people, the earth and whatever higher force that exists in the vast ocean of infinity. I am a deep thinker, feeler, and dreamer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I open my doors to travelers when I can. I share our space, community, resources with others in order to spread community and relations. I love to meet others in their environment and share their culture, customs, and knowledge. I am constantly inspired by others and look forward to creating new friends through this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I graduated from college, I travelled a bit and lived on a friend's couch for a month. I became the cook for a while and helped her out in many ways. I was very blessed to stay there through my transition. Nearly every place I visit, I try to stay with local folks and friends. I even slept on a mattress on top of a building in northern Peru overlooking the ocean. That's a memoriable experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood underneath a warm waterfall in the highland jungle of southern Ecuador, Parque Podacarpus Nationale outside of Zamora, Ecuador. It was the most beautiful waterfall I have ever experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a yoga teacher and studier of the vedic tradition and philosophy. I also know alot about organic gardening, sustainability, teaching children and adults mathematics, music, hiking, and much more.
