My life motto is Hakuna Matata.
My fuel is JIF chunky peanut butter.
I tend to save instead of spend and then blow it all on travel every 18 months.
If you had to describe me you might drop the word "gregarious" and your friends would be pretty impressed by your vocabulary.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to host in the future, because everyone should see DC. I'll be available to host again in early 2013.

I've surfed two times total, in Amsterdam and Berlin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First contact was with a Jewish Trekkie living in a Surinamese ghetto in Amsterdam, no joke. He was the first guy I'd ever met from the Internet and he was pretty awesome. He had excellent taste in scotch and house music.

The other time I surfed, my host owned a non-profit bar with 11 of his friends and took us to explore the 20 floors of an abandoned WWII outpost, complete with open elevator shafts. Responsible for one of the BEST days of my life thus far... so overall a positive experience I'd say.

Interests

I'll make your ears bleed when I drum!! METAL!! Not because I'm good though haha. I only picked up the real thing after I beat Rock Band 3 and a friend sold me his drumset. Now I'm in a band with my dad and his dad-friends and we play soft, mom-friendly classic rock in charity concerts every few months. METAALLLLL

I'm also a closet CrossFitter, it's how I wage war against my crippling, full-blown sugar addiction. The day before I wrote this, I literally had two pounds of apple walnut pie for lunch. It helps that I'm 6'5" and I still have the athlete appetite I developed in college but still... DAMN.
