ABOUT ME

My name is Jason- I am a world traveler and that loves to get out and meet new people and experience new cultures as much as possible. I like to think I am a very open minded person and with the outgoing free spirit mentality that I take with me I tend to mingle with and associate with positive people doing the same thing. I seldom turn my back to new adventures and I am always ready to learn something new about myself or others. I have been traveling the world for the last year and I have no end in site. I traveled through Central America the second half of 2011 and I find myself currently traveling Europe the second half of 2012. I recently started a website designed to connect travelers all over the world so we can connect, share experiences and hopefully meet new friends along the way (www.JoinUsAroundtheWorld.com)... I love to travel that really the best way to put it, its a passion of mine and something that keeps me motivated and going... I look forward to couch surfing with you and getting to know more of the locals in the city or country I find myself in... Thanks for looking and considering me as your next couch surfer!

Interests

Some of the things that grab my attention in life are fellow motivated and out going people/travelers that are passionate about what they do and are trying to spread that passion for life and travel... History grabs my attention as well, not history from a book but rather being in that location and seeing, feeling, hearing and absorbing the history/culture live and in person... entrepreneurs who are trying to create and build something new and exciting grab my attention as well. It is exciting and motivating to see someone build something out of nothing or from the ground up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year Tikal in Guatemala was a jaw dropping amazing experience that left me in awe and wanting more. That was one of those moments that made me want to keep traveling and continue to see the marvels of the world. If you ever have a chance to go to Tikal you won't be disappointed..... I recently had the opportunity to go to Pompeii in Italy and that was also one of those wow moments. It wasn't as jaw dropping as Tikal but very much an amazing site in its own right....While in Belize last year I had a chance to swim and snorkel with sharks and a manatee which was an indescribable experience and one that I will be sure and do again some day!
