ABOUT ME

i go to school in halifax for environmental urban planning, i read, explore, skate/snow/kite board, climb trees, do the music thing and have been known to get engulfed in an adventure or two. i enjoy whistling and singing, jumping in cold water and can crochet a mean toque, headband or cozy. I am on a mission to learn and make connections on small scales to develop a sense of how important the little and local things are to the big, vast and wild world thing that we've got going for ourselves.

PHILOSOPHY

Hope for the best, but plan for the worst... everything happens for a reason and the sun is always shining above the clouds!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent many a snowy season bouncing from couch to couch. I fully believe in the reciprocation of being a guest and i'm very intune to how long my welcome is and when i'm close to overstaying it. Its great when people can be open and welcome strangers into their houses, because taking that step no longer makes them strangers! this is so essential to building a sense of community wherever you are, which is something that ide like to help bring back!

Crocheting is what I do... I make hats, headbands, scarfs and cozies...all kinds of cozies! i've always got my hook and some yarn and can keep you warm and stylish in return for a place to rest my head...i'll even show you a stitch or two to help you along your way!
