About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finishing this damn book...

ABOUT ME

A man with a plan. Not sure what that plan is yet. It's in the works.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll have to think about this one...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After a bit of an absence from Savannah, I have recently moved back into the house that I own on 37th Street. I'll be making the couches available for the occasional surfer, and perhaps even the spare bedroom. However, I plan to put the bedroom up for rent on AirBnB, so I will be taking surfers only when I do not have paying guests. My house is not immediately adjacent to the historic downtown, but not far either. A short bike ride or a long walk. Ha. That said, there is plenty to do in walking distance as well. This area of Savannah is quickly developing as downtown has become packed out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done plenty of couchsurfing over the years, but never through this site! Looking forward to playing host and meeting some new and interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, so many. A personal favorite is "A Hero of Our Time". One that I recommend to everyone is "The Worldly Philosophers", which describes the history, heart, and soul of economics (yes, it has all those things, ha) without any charts or equations. Economic theorists have probably shaped our world more that prophets, generals, or politicians. For fun, "All-Star Superman" - probably the best 12 issues of any comic book ever published. Pacific Rim was the last movie that I saw - great fun. Will probably go to se it again in IMAX.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

70 countries. I was in Lebanon during the Cedar Revolution. That was pretty cool.
