CURRENT MISSION

Having just joined couch surfing my current mission is to find some friends in Seoul, Korea. I am travelling there in December 2014 and will be alone and friendless so to speak. I have accommodation sorted and will be staying with a host family in Gangnam

ABOUT ME

I recently decided I need a holiday as I haven't had a real break since 2005. I have decided where to go (Seoul Korea) but the problem was I didn't know anyone over there. That is how I stumbled on couch surfing.

I live in Gippsland a country region of Australia that is located about 150kms East of Melbourne, Australia.

I work as a personal care assistant (or have for the past 4 years), which for those who may not know means I look after the elderly when they cannot look after themselves anymore, or choose to live in an aged care environment. I previously worked in the computer and tech industry which saw myself and family living in Taiwan.

I've travelled a lot on my own, I find it lonely and this time I'd love to meet with locals or other travellers and enjoy my stay in other lands.

In past when foreign workers have come to the company I work for I have befriended them and taken them to different places/events that they wouldn't have ordinarily seen.

Intereses

I am interested in music, I play piano, guitar, and ukulele to varying degrees or at least enjoy myself. I love to learn, so I'm studying programming at the moment. I have been accepted into university to study nursing next year. I enjoy meeting with people and chatting, watching movies.

Música, películas y libros

I love many movies, but out of recent movies (last 10 years) I've seen I felt I liked "The pursuit of Happiness" with Will Smith. I like to listen to Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Roxette and wide variety of others singers/groups. I have watched quite a few Korean dramas over the years and Liked "You're beautiful" very much especially the OST. I love to read previously at night when I was an undergraduate many years ago at uni, so much so that I had to stop as I was falling asleep in lectures. But now I'm reading, "A song of fire and ice" series.

I am friendly, well traveled love to meet people. Happy to help people with language or just get together for fun, movie, coffees or sightseeing. I'm traveling alone and am easy to please.
