Music, Movies, and Books

Back to the Future is by far my favorite movie. In order 1, 3, then 2. (Godfather in the same order)

Back to the Future was the first film me and my brother were aloud to see alone together in theaters. I was 11 and he was 14 in 1985 when it came out. I still remember the excitement leaving that theater and running up to my parents to tell them all about it as they came out of the movies next to us from watching Cocoon.

I also love "B" and inde films like: John Dies at the end, Rubber, Wrong, and Sharknado.

If you have an adventurous spirit and I know you do you have to watch - "The Way" #1

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done quite a bit of travel with my dad and son. We have stood on the highest point in the Swiss Alps, sat in hot springs in Iceland and hiked through coffee plantations in the jungles of Central America. I just booked a flight to the Galápagos in spring and am planning a trip to the running of the bulls in Pamplona in July.

Update - Galapagos and Pamplona were ridiculously amazing. I left Ecuador about 2 hour before the big earthquake so I was extremely lucky. Me and 7 of my friends squeezed a road trip in as well in Late October 2016, we drove from El Salvador to the bottom of Nicaragua and stopped to do some Volcano Boarding along the way. What an amazing trip.

2017 I have a trip to Thailand in the spring and a trip to Greece in the fall. I'd like to hit up something midsummer, perhaps Columbia... I'm not sure, we'll see what happens.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give good directions and point you in the direction of points of interest. I've been through culinary school but I'm not a great cook. Please use the words "petrichor" and "hiraeth" in your request.

I love to learn about different cultures.

And love sharing stories

What I Can Share with Hosts

There's not much near where I live. The worlds largest tea pot is about 2 min away, the sight where Pretty Boy Floyd was shot and killed is 15 min away, and Pittsburgh is about 45 min away. Depending on the time of year I have a huge yard we can build a fire, grill out and share our stories of travel.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Aruba, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
