About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to take over the world. Muahahaha. Just kidding. It's to get to meet new and interesting people.

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back guy who enjoys the thrill of going to different places and meeting new people. I'm a stand up person who is very respectful of others. I love to laugh and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose it's a couple of things. Treat others the way that you wish to be treated. Strive to do better. And always keep and open mind and an open heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to participate in CS as an active member. But I do tell people about CS and how unique it is to travel to new places and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment, I have no couchsurfing experience. A friend of mine told me about it. It sounded like such a unique and positive experience. I'm looking forward to getting to know and meet the community first hand.

Interests

Reading books, building computers, sharing my knowledge with others. Visiting new places. Food, beer and good humor. I've also taken an interest in learning to dance recently.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love the original Star Wars Trilogy (the new ones don't count), Wings of Desire (Der Himmel Über Berlin), The Bourne Identity, Wedding Crashers.

Music: Alternative, Rock, Hip Hop, Hard Rock

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having traveled through my fair share of countries. I've seen goats riding on top of mini-buses, 5 people riding on a motor scooter, I've walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and trekked the Himalayas. But I've found the most amazing thing I've actually done is to meet so many unique and interesting people from all walks of life on my journey. That has been the most amazing and enriching thing for me. The rest is just window dressing compared to the connections you make along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

When traveling, pack light, travel light. Give people a chance but always mind your surroundings and the people around you.

I can teach you how to cook Red Chili, Chicken Makhani (my version of it anyway), homemade Mac and Cheese and Snickerdoodle cookies. The German language, as spoken by an American. Ha! And I can teach you all about technology. I love learning just about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share with them some of my favorite dishes that I love to make from home.
