Overview
About Me
Until a few years ago, I hadn't really traveled. In 2013, I hitchhiked from British Columbia to the Atlantic Ocean, Newfoundland and from there I thumbed to the Pacific, British Columbia. I hung in my hammock well over a hundred nights on that coast to coast Canada trip, I highly recommend Canada for this style of travel. What a beautiful country full of beautiful people. In 2014, I hitchhiked down to Guanajuato, Mexico. I was down there for 6 months of the 7 month trip. I seem to meet with wonderful people who are always there every step of the way. In 2015 I thumbed down to Texas and then in to Mexico for my second time. Last October I cycled in to Mexico for my first bicycle trip. It was my 3rd time going south of the USA in three years. I look forward to more travel filled with growth and all the beauty that travel brings. I like to be grateful and to pay it forward. This September I'll be migrating south and I look forward seeing the west coast once again. Until now the majority of couches that I surfed have come from the many spontaneous individuals that I meet along the way. I've couch surfed in a large boat, motor homes and sky risers. I thumbed on a plane into Mexico and received a ride in a Rolls to Albuquerque. Then of course theres the dune buggy in Baja. I'm just a dude who's here for whats next.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While peddeling to Mexico I used the Warm showers community a bunch and it was great. Also the camping experience takes quite a bit of work. I get to the city, spend time to locate an area that is safe and secluded. I pack up my big backpack in the morning in order to hide in for the day while I enjoy the sites of the city. Then I return to sleep and repeat. I feel that surfing on your couch would free up time to enjoy more of the city and I'll get to see more of the local traditions.

Teach, Learn, Share
The world is not a big scary place full of assholes and hate, on the contrary. My perspective of the world is one of love and I have the stories to back it up. I have received hundreds of rides from total strangers, even crashing on their couch, and I have not come across any bad experiences. Surely I have some curious stories, marvelous stories, and only one story which could have gone wrong if I put into it negative energy but nope, the universe provides.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beginner guitar and music theory, cooking lessons, Dog training, lots of knowledge about a wide variety of pets and animal maintenance and behaviour. Many beautiful stories about my travels of which have been know to bring a tear to the eye. Knowledge of hitchhiking and camping in ninja mode. Shits and giggles but hopefully no giggles than shits. Love for humanity.
