ABOUT ME

For most of my life people called me by my last name but these days I just go by Jason. I'm 29 years old and continually denying that 30 is creeping around the corner. I enjoy traveling and am seriously addicted to Dr. Pepper. I'm proud of my Texan heritage but not always so proud of my fellow Texan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this but I'd like to meet new people by sleeping in strange new places. When I have a couch I hope to offer the same to others. I've worked in a hostel for a few years, so couch surfing just seemed like the next step.

I've never couch surfed before but I have slept on a couch and I found it most agreeable.

The big lebowski, philip k dick novels. dystopian novels and historical non fiction. Going to the movie theater is a passion. There's soft spot in my heart for cheesy 80's horror movies. I enjoy most music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on a beach with my girlfriend one summer night in wellfleet mass we witnessed something extrodinary. Above us the cosmos but out on the horizon was a lightning storm brought on by a hurricane off the coast. It was A spellbinding experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone wants to know any useless historical information I've picked up along the way I would gladly share it. Otherwise I'd like to become more handy. It would be nice to pick up some tools and fix whatever was broken.

I'm also very passionate about cooking, although I have no professional training I've worked in a few kitchens in my travels around. I love trying out new recipes and different cuisines. Perhaps we can share some recipes or cook a meal together!
