Energetic, always in for a laugh. I think I'll start to rust if I sit still for too long, so I like to be active and have new experiences.
Through hitchhiking and squatting, I've been in amazing places over the years and I think I'm good at creating something from nothing. I work from home, making animated video's. I'm currently staying with friends, while looking for a van to travel with, for as long as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to travel for a long time. I'd like to meet interesting people on my way who share the love for traveling! I've had some previous experiences hosting couchsurfers and really loved the possibility of 'travelling without leaving' and I think you really get to know someone in a short amount of time.

Interests

I like to travel, to party, I enjoy long discussions and sharing life experiences over a beer. I'm in love with sports (doing it, not watching it) films and music and feel home in communal houses, squats and between free minds.

Music: I like a lot of types of music, I listen mostly to ska, punk, balkan and tekno.

Movies: Hazard, a 100 year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared, Mary and Max

Books: Homage to Catalonia, TAZ, Mijn avonturen door V. Schwchwrm (kids book, but most bizarre piece of writing ever made!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling for thousands of kilometers through Europe with a bunch of friends in a van. Living on the road and staying only in places that appealed to us. Maybe the most amazing thing I've ever done and an inspiration to get a van and do the same thing for a lot longer!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook! I don't cook meat but I'm pretty good at faking it with other stuff, ll turn your shoe into a steak. I'm learning to play the guitar. I know a lot when it comes to any type of video or graphic design, which I'll gladly pass on. I can teach you some mixed martial arts or kickboxing. I'm up for teaching and learning languages, or learning anything really.
