I am Jasper, 19 years old and I‘m from Germany. I am currently taking a so called „Gap-Year“ to get to know myself a bit better and see new parts of the world. I love travelling and being hosted by somebody who lives in places I have not yet been sounds more than interesting and exciting to me! I am really happy to meet new people and make friends from other cultures and environments. I also have a dog at home and I get along with pets of all kinds (except for cats, allergy :/).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is great because it is a more intense experience traveling, than being isolated in a Hotel/Hostel. You can interact with your hosts and learn things about places only locals know!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving on Koh Tao, Thailand. Truly a unique experience, something I have never done before! It is a new feeling to go multiple meters deep underwater and feel absolute zero gravity. Seeing all kinds of different sea animals too.

I can speak English and German fluently, and am really happy to help people who want to learn a bit! I am also really interested in (trying to) speak new languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My many memories traveling Asia for almost 2 months now! Every place and every person has been unique. I have seen quite a few things now and learning each new one is always an experience of it‘s own.
