Oí amigão,
I am given the name Jasper. Its been a while since I have been wandering around this planet with this name ascribed to me. To be exact, 22.
So far I have heard that I am an open minded person. But who hasnt? Nonetheless, I think there is some truth in that statement. But maybe this is also due to me being able to easily forget time talking for hours and hours. I think the ability to share and tell stories is something beautiful and I enjoy it to the fullest to explore what life means to us humans. Wrappend and expressed in our relation with another and the stories, the insights and perspectives we share are one of the most astonishing and captivating aspects of our little existence on this biiig ball floating in the universe.

For now, I am living in Brazil. I was born in Germany in a small town in a metropolitan area in the Western part of Germany. I grew up there for the first years and moved to the United States when I was 15. A few years later I decided to move to Costa Rica for a while, working, enjoying the peacefullness of existence. Later on I stayed Colombia and when I moved back to Europe I started my bachelors degree at a Liberal Arts College in Maastricht in the Netherlands. A few months ago I arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, learning Portuguese and yet capturing just another aspect of this thing called 'a vida'.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I once ended up in the most rural area of Nicaragua, far out in the mountains in the North. My good friend and I have heard about a farm where we could work on. We left Matagalpa to drive up the dirt road for 4 hours and arrived in a little village. From there it was a 2 hours march to get to San Antonio, the village where we would stay 2 weeks, harvesting yuca, cutting grass and realizing our main project: Constructing furniture. We left the last signs of electricity and running water behind us hours ago. We milked the cows in the morning, cooked lunch on open fire, and told and listened to stories of the people living out there just in unsteady and flickering flare of a candle.
