I joined couchsurfing to get to know new people and places. I am friendly and genuinely interested in different perspectives. I love travelling, because it allows me to see new places and discover new things.

I have a huge interest in languages, culture and linguistics and these areas have been my primary interest both personally and academically. I am a qualified language teacher. I believe it is important to respect other beings and the planet. I am vegan. I am interested in politics, ethics, personal well-being and self-development.

I like to play tennis and also enjoy swimming, walking and cycling.

Music - many bands (like RHCP, Six60, Oasis, Beatles) I also like classical (Bach, Chopin, Vivaldi and more contemporary stuff like Philip Glass) and hip hop and jazz

Movies - Jungle Book, the cartoon version is a childhood favourite. Generally I like artistic movies, clever story lines, good cinematography

Books - I like Tolkien a lot and thrillers/mysteries
