Hi, my name is Jasper from Amsterdam. I am 26 years old and am currently working as a Financial Analyst at OCI in Amsterdam, a global leader in the production of bio-fuel products.

Next to my work, I also produce electronic music (artist name "Derivativ" in Spotify). After graduation I took a gap year which I fully dedicated to my passion for music production. I hope to make a great breakthrough one day ;)

Next to music production, I enjoy running in the park/forest, cooking gourmet style dishes, having deep philosophical discussions about social-cultural and historical topics and of course travelling the world. I grew up in Hong Kong and have studied in NYC, which is the reason I am coming back in May!

From May 9th I will be visiting NYC for a couple of days. I would love to stay at someone's place and visit the sights Ive seen whilst living here in 2018. If you have a room available for me, that would be great!

Interests

Besides my interest in economics and music, I am also interested in a diverse range of social political discussions. I have studied a minor in American political science in NYC last year and learned all about the social issues (racism, gun laws, polarisation) american soceity has dealt with since the start of its foundation. I also have a special interest in the Middle-East, about international relations within the region and the histories of all Middle-Eastern countries. I love watching documentaries and reading articles relating social issues like these.
