ABOUT ME

How to describe a life in words? That's difficult, impossible maybe. But I'm going to try...

I was raised by four people: my dad, my biological mum, my other mum and my grandma. A loving and caring family, where me and my brother grew up in a inspiring and creative environment. This summer I finished my study at the Theater Academy Maastricht and now I live and work in Utrecht as a director. Earning money with this profession is very difficult, but I don't care. I'm doing theatre because it can open up hearts. And there is nothing more beautiful then that: people who have the courage to show their weaknesses and imperfections. That's what life is all about: contact, pure contact. That's why I love to direct: it's about connecting people, bringing them together. Sharing stories, trying to understand each other. Well, that's the romantic version. It's a hell of a job as well. But sometimes, sometimes it is just magic.

Well, now the usual stuff. I'm straightforward, openminded, a bit of a control freak, a perfectionist, a good listener, a enthusiastic speaker. I love conversations over dinner, jamming and making music, enjoying the sun in the parc, debating about philosophy and science and the world around and within us. I don't hate so much, but i do hate people who don't dare to say what they want or what really is going on inside. I think openness is very important.

PHILOSOPHY

In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except yourself.

None. But I'm looking forward to be part of this community and meeting new people, exchange our thoughts, dreams and ideas.

兴趣

I love to just hang out. Have a good beer. Talk. Go to the theatre or enjoy some life music.

I don't like the small talk that much. I'm more into the real shit. Dreams, fears, all that you love and want to share. I try to be open and listen. Really listen.
