Overview
About Me
I graduated from Philosophy and ever since have been working and traveling around the world.
I enjoy uplifting the people around me and learning new things all the time. Lots of people would say I'm (hyper) active, and while I am very social and into acting, I also enjoy quiet time... meditation, Chi Kung.
Hangliding is a hobby I want to get back into. Running off mountainsides for a week or two, it's just so much fun.
I'm a seasoned volunteer (Workaway) where I sort of couch-surf but then longer periods and helping /working with the hosts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm used to being hosted as a volunteer. Helping out my hosts is how I enjoy my stay the most. Couchsurfing gets me close to the people of a country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first Hang Gliding flight from a mountain side:
"Just run straight off the cliff", made me a little nervous but that's how you take off.
I run into the air and for 5 seconds things went well. Full of adrenaline I flew smooth, 20 feet above the pine trees. Suddenly a cross-wind hit me, stronger than I ever experienced in my practices.
The wind forced me to the left and down. Treetops were about to clip my wings, and I threw myself to the right, steering with my whole body against the turmoil. I stablilized and steered clear from the mountain-side.
Suddenly a warm gentle wind blew upward, lifting me higher and higher. Ecastaticly I circled around to stay in this thermal bubble. I look back to where I took off, and realise I was much higher! I looked around and could see beyond the mountain I took off from. I was flying higher than the summit!
