‘’The only impossible journey, is the one you never begin’’

I often thought to myself, I shouldn't book that ticket to New Zealand, or should not hitchhike from Amsterdam to Stockholm, but everytime I decided to start a journey which seemed far away or impossible, It never failed to disappoint

Those were actually the things I'd get a lot of my inspiration from.
That's why it is important to embrace the unknown and if I learned one thing..

If an idea scares you, then there is a good chance you should do it!

That's why I started using couchsurfing back in 2011, backpacking across the world

And ever since that experience, I noticed that strangers are not that scary or need anything from you, actually 99% of people want to help, give back and make something meaningful out of life.

The past years I have lived in 4 countries, learned several languages along the way, got a passion for entrepreneurship, growth / life hacking. Started my own business in cybersecurity, worked as bartender and did some volunteering around farms.

Meeting new people has always been something I like. I think everybody can teach you something in someway. It's very interesting to share travel experiences or to hear someone's vision on life. After surfing or hosting I often feel inspired.

I like to go out for an adventure, even if it's just a small one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Helping others and giving back must surely be one of the most fulfilling things a human can do.

And what better than to offer a place to stay and to get know people from all over the world with their different worldviews, habits and cuisine ;)

Each couchsurfing experience restored my confidence in humanity a little bit, proving we can be kind, curious and interested in eachother. Things we perhaps lost along the way sometimes.

I've been couchsurfing at several places. Every experience has been an unique one, and that’s what I like about it.

It's always nice to meet kind and respectful people, with good intentions to others or even on a mission to change the world! Little by little.

Interests

I really like to travel. Six years ago I travelled around the world for quite some time, discovering new cultures and meeting many inspiring people. After that trip I knew travelling would always be a big part in my life, it can put things into perspective. I like to get out of my comfortzone and think about the conventional things people do, and then challenge that.

Besides travelling, I like to sport often, go out for a drink, see live music and go to the movies

Camping on a desolated beach in New Zealand, making a campfire with friends and watch the sun go down the horizon, enjoying the calmness of the sea and nature. Feeling miles away from society, real freedom.
