ABOUT ME

I like short sentences. I also like carrots. And possibly a few beers with that.

I studied politics and ended up in a theater, and haven't regretted in one day. I want to travel the world but usually end up just dreaming about it with a few friends in a local bar. I have visited almost every capital in Europe, and plan to broaden my horizons in the years to come. Suggestions welcome!

Surfed on the couch of fantastic hosts in The Hague, Rouen, Rennes and Bordeaux.
Spent many nights in Antwerp showing Couch surfers why Antwerp is the n° 1 party spot in Belgium.

On a rainy night I enjoy a gritty drama or a good series. Favourites include The Wire, Deadwood, South Park and Breaking Bad. My favourite movies would be Big Fish, Up in the Air, Reservoir Dogs and Road To Perdition.

Landing in Tokyo in the middle of a storm made me feel strangely alive.

Standing on the temple of the moon of Teotihuacan with a storm breaking out felt like a signal from an angry god.

Walking around a snowed-in Vienna wasn't that amazing, but it sure as hell was pretty.

I'm not good at teaching because it makes me feel like a demagogue. I like to listen more than I like to teach, even if I talk a lot :)
