ABOUT ME

I’m a young ambitious Geography Teacher, I am super grateful to have started a career during the pandemic. It keeps me busy and allows me to offer to young people. Though I am missing connecting with other travellers, I feel quite limited in the Midlands.

I am versatile in that, I can enjoy both introverted and extroverted activities. I can be very social and enjoy telling stories about my travels or discussing philosophy, culture, politics.

I'm currently in the middle of completing an online TEFL Course, I am finding it pretty difficult to study in this environment and am hoping I can find a host that will allow for some quiet time for me to study and then some time to hang out ( work hard play hard). Also I have been travelling for a while, I would really appreciate some time in a home away from home.

What I can give back:

Through being an clean, tidy and respectful guest I would teat your home as if it were my grandmas. I have many stories to share about my travels so far, my ever-changing philosophies and perspectives on the world. I'm pretty easy-going and easy to get along with, I'm hoping I can come and have some interesting conversations and create some great memories with my host.

I'm a music enthusiast, open to music from all cultures and genres, I don't go a day without listening to a song. I hope I can exchange music with others along my travels. being a psychology graduate, I am interested in discussing psychological and philosophical subjects. Particularly when it comes to cross-cultural beliefs, I don't believe there is one true 'right' way to live and subjectivity from experiences and cultural differences play a significant part in who we are today and who we want to be tomorrow.

I enjoy all genres of music, mostly I listen to Indie electronic and hip-hop house. Movies and TV, I like a psychological thriller or something thought provoking. Black mirror anyone? When it comes to reading, I’m often reading books about personal growth.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When I was 16 I went on a World Challenge expedition to Mexico and Belize. During our jungle trek week, there was a monsoon storm, we therefore could not continue with our route; crossing a river. We had to set up camp, survival skills came into play. There were roads the size of footballs, bright orange spiders, monkeys and a Jaguar following our tracks! After 2 days, we were rescued by the Belize army, I’m so grateful for satellite phones and GPS. This is where my want to Travel and explore began.
