About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To dance, sing, eat, live, love, and ride my bike with as many people as possible.

ABOUT ME

Never too quick to judge and quick to forgive. My true love is traveling around the world on my bicycle. I have ridden all over my country and hope to soon travel the rest of the world. I am laid back and love meeting new people, trying new foods and experiencing life.

PHILOSOPHY

he Road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow, if I can, pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say. - Bilbo Baggins

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On all of my bicycle tours I have meet wonderful people who have taken me in and not only given me a couch but also a good meal. Its hard to say what was my favorite couch experience has been. My first one was while I was traveling though Connecticut. I was searching for a place to pitch my tent when i saw a guy doing some gardening at a church. I asked if I could pitch up in the lawn there but he said that i might even sleep inside the church. However the pastor said that the alarm had to be set and therefore I could not sleep inside. Really I was OK sleeping in the grass but the Pastor would not have that. He invited me to come stay with him and his family. I couldn't believe my luck or his generosity and was grateful for the opportunity to sleep on a nice couch. He feed me and made me a part of his family for the night. It was an awesome experience of human kindness and I will never forget him or any of the families that have taken me in for the night.
