ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Javad and I'm software engineer. I'm originally from Iran, but I have been living in Berlin since 2016. Before moving to Berlin, I lived in Helsinki for 5 years. I came to Finland in 2012 to continue my studies in computer science at the University of Helsinki.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I host surfers and plan to surf. We can cook some Persian dishes, and can share insights about the life and culture in Iran (and our experience of living abroad - in Germany and Finland). We can also teach some Persian if you are interested or if you're planning to visit the country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have been on Couchsurfing for a rather long time, I haven't had the time and the chance to surf yet. But we are planning to start surfing and experience that exciting journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pop, Jazz, and classical. I like drama mostly when it comes to films or TV shows, but every now and then I sit back, chill out and watch thrillers, comedies or documentaries :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have changed my lifestyle from a boring routine one with a rather secure job to a more challenging but exciting one I dreamed about for several years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Persian, and I would like to learn German, French, or Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I happily share my heart and my chocolate ;) I also will give you a ride to a not well-known culture, a cultural trip that many find interesting and exciting. Also, my wife and I can give you a glimpse of Persian cuisine.
