About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live for Travelling... Travelling for Life ;)

ABOUT ME

I'm Spanish... but I have lived away from Spain long enough to some times feel like a foreigner when I fly back home.

I haven't been able to settle down any where yet. I have lived in Madrid, Amsterdam and different parts of England. But my life still fits in a couple of suitcases, just in case I feel like joining a new adventure tomorrow :)

In the mean time London is the best place I have found. I love this city and it is the only town I have moved in twice in my life!

The rest... will come over a coffee/beer/wine :)

PHILOSOPHY

Travel as you live. Live as you travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love London... and I really enjoy showing it around.

Even though I love London's night life, I can handle the clubbing any more :-P so I am up more for the London day light life ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Totally new to it

Interests

I have to admit that I am quite curious. Generally new things, weird stuff or odd events are my favourites, i.e. I found a football match quite boring ;) but street performances and parades quite cool.

Museums in general and Modern Art ones in particular, Street Markets charming Restaurants and wine :)

I have a preference for street performance and circus arts... I'm not very good at it (I'm learning Static Trapeze at the moment) but I really enjoy seeing it.

Ah... and of course travelling... like any one else in CS!

Music, Movies, and Books

Beatles... and from there onwards... almost anything, as long as it has a touch of creativity. Now I am hooked to a record I bought to a band that was playing at a Flower Market in London: The Bondfire Band

The last great book I have read is "Mujeres de Ojos Grandes" (Women with Big Eyes), which was awesome.

And in terms of movies... I am in a quest of catching up with some of the old greatest like Fellini... but I take breaks with some of the stuff from the Cohen Brothers :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been quite lucky and had the chance of doing quite a few things that completely thrilled me and made me feel really special.

But if I had to chose one, it would be sailing across the Atlantic Ocean on the Spring of 2009 for 5 weeks. Nothing compared to the feeling of sailing through the Strait of Gibraltar after all that time. Awesome ;D
