Overview
About Me
I live in a country-house to the outskirts of Bogota, Colombia. A very nice and peacefull place. Five years ago I devote myself to make wooden furniture at my own workshop. My company is called the Woodpecker, I live alone and I like walking along the mountain, painting, cooking and knowing creative and happy people.
Also, i am a very dedicated empirical musician
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that it is an effective way of creating social connections that they enrich and promote the capacities of the persons, after there know the people of other places, different cultures and new ideas. Also, sometimes it is the only way of fravelling for some people, because of the accommodation costs in general
Interests
Im interested on art, music instruments construction and interpretation (spetially if they are rare and typical), cooking, drawing and learning about the handmade traditional construction skills. I am thinking about studying restoration soon to keep me on specializing in this area
Music, Movies, and Books
Traditional latinamerican music, but actually all kind of music. I like reeding to Paul Auster, thats what im reading right now. Nostalgia for the light, a chilean movie, it is the last movie i have seen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have begun constructing musical instruments. I have made a "cuatro llanero" and a mandolin and I am doing my first guitar!
Teach, Learn, Share
carpentry, design and artistic drawing are things that I feel good teaching.
I would like to learn languages, and all kind of things of another cultures.
