About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Two months and a half in europe starting the first day of autumn!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Javier and i'm 27 years old. I recently graduated from the university of Buenos Aires with the title of Image and Sound designer. I work as an editor in a tv channel and I also animate graphics. I like animation but I'd really love to turn into a great director.

PHILOSOPHY

With great strength comes great responsibility (?). Sorry... I've always loved spiderman and I can't help myself when I'm asked for a personal philosophy...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my first trip away from America I went to Israel, Egipt and Turkey. I travelled with a friend who had already surfed and we were hosted by Murat, a great guy from Istambul who turned our adventure into an amazing experience. We helped him move out from his home to a new place and he showed us around the city and told us the best places we could visit. After that trip I decided I wanted to surf a lot more, so here I am... getting ready for my next trip!

Interests

I love photography, music (I play a bit guitar and bass guitar), I love watching movies and I really love to travel...

Music, Movies, and Books

pffff... loads... I'll put just a few: Apocalypse Now, Fear and Loathing in las Vegas... most Terry Gilliam, Wes Anderson, Ridley Scott, Stanley Kubrick... and of course Borges, Cortazar and Bolaño

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

uhmmm... I guess Egypt was an amazing place... I loved El Cairo... Being there made me realize how much I wanted to know cultures different from mine and see how life is so different in every place you go.
