About Me

Living Scotland and loving it so far!

A few years ago I decided to start travelling on my own as none of my friends were able to join me. Getting time off at work is too hard to spend holidays at home! I was encouraged by a former teacher to try solo travelling at least once due to his own stories and life lessons. So when I saw the opportunity to pack my bag, I didn't hesitate and flew off. There's not to say that I loved it and discovered a new way of living and enjoying life.

Since then, I've done plenty of travelling around Europe meeting some cool, interesting and inspiring people. All these experiences unlocked aspects of me that were unknown and eventually led me to make a life choice deciding to move abroad. Being far from home on your own and having to deal with all the aspects of an adult life on your own truly makes someone grow up and develop as a human being.

But it's not about turning deep and cheeply philosophical. It's been a very enjoyable experience so far and there's time for fun too! Opportunities raised to do several short trips around UK such as Bristol, Stonehenge and Liverpool, a couple of Highlands trips and a volunteering placement in the heart of a forest in Argyll!

So this is pretty much me. I'm just a normal guy trying to figure out a life bringing all the aspects I like together. Passing through, helping out, failing and learning. Willing and ready to enjoy some rewarding couchsurfing experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think it's amazing as it is something quite common amongst travellers and nomads, but I felt quite relieved after quitting my unfulfilling job at home and moving to a new country. I couldn't even start to imagine the impact such decision would have in my life!

Travelling for 6 months in 2017 was quite unexpected too. Never had the chance to do it before and really wanted to. What an experience!
