Hello! My name is Javier Lobato, and I have just started using couchsurfing.

I finished my lawyer studies and decided to start studying to be an accountant as well. I have always worked in financial companies, until about 1 year ago I got my lawyer license and started working independent. A few months ago I decided to start this current working holiday trip.

I love playing and watching football, and also a big fan of NBA. I have my own apartment and have learned lots of cooking since I got it. I would be happy to host and meet new people and also make some friends in the way!

I love meeting new people, I am a big fan of discussions and also of countries' history. Always willing to learn something new so everything is welcome! I've just started a work and holiday travel around New Zealand, currently in Auckland.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite all time band is Oasis, I love the Gallagher brothers. I also love The Strokes and the Arctic Monkeys. This last year I have started listening to some Rap, specially Travis Scott and Drake.

My favorite movies are the Star Wars movies (specially the first and second trilogy, in that order) and love the Harry Potter and LOTR sagas as well. I am a huge fan of Tarantino too, which makes me love Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction naturally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is watching all the Harry Potter movies unreapeatedly and just stopping once to go to the bathroom.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach some spanish if needed (that's my nature tongue), some cooking recipes, and also some basic guitar knowledge. Always willing to learn something different!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share from a beer or a wine to a guitar song or some basic Spanish lesson. I would also love to cook them a nice meal!
