Overview
About Me
I'm a musician from Costa Rica, I live in Curridabat which is about 20-30 minutes from San Jose downtown. I'm looking to travel around the world, try some street music in different countries and learn all I can about any music going on in there. I'm a chill person, a smoker, a reader and a major coffee drinker :P. I was born and raised in Costa Rica in a lovely big family with four sisters that I love. I probably spend around 50% of the time playing guitar or talking about music, I'm an easy person to please and hope to make some really good friends all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Music is a major reason, I'm looking to learn about street music in different parts of the world, and as of right now, I'm planning on starting traveling as soon as April 2016 around Latin America to learn and share some music experiences, get to know a lot of people and maybe even learn a few languages if possible!
Interests
Music, music and music. Now that that's covered I also love reading (a lot), writing, learning new languages, hiking, basketball, making some new friends. I also have a little bit of a geeky side (coming mostly from literature). Anything fun, I'm up for it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music is a tough one, I've been through quite a lot of phases, so I like pretty much everything, however some artists I love:
Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Ray Charles, Charlie Parker, Groundation, Papadosio, Tipper, Silvio Rodriguez, El Cuarteto de Nos, Calle 13, Marta Gomez, Nano Stern, Sonambulo Psicotropical, Passiflora, Un Rojo, Señor Loop.
I'm always up for watching new movies, though I don't do it much, I'm usually more of a reader.
I love reading, besides music it might be thing I enjoy the most, some titles I have really liked are:
LOTR (Tolkien), A Song of Ice and Fire (George R. R. Martin), A Brave New World (Aldous Huxley), A Clockwork Orange (Anthony Burgess),Rayuela (Cortazar), most of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's books, Niebla (Miguel Unamuno).
Teach, Learn, Share
I would definitely like to teach some guitar playing while I'm around traveling, anyone that wants learning in a fun way would definitely enjoy my style of teaching. I also have good English and Spanish for anyone willing to learn.
I think I would like to learn a little bit of anything, any new language is welcome as well as learning to play new instruments.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm definitely willing to help around the house, cooking, cleaning, you name it. I'm also a reliable person, I would love to share some music (I play for free :P), and would be definitely willing to welcome someone at my own country once I get back and settled.
