About Me

Anthropology student, coffee enthusiast and language nerd. Also, I love to learn random stuff. I'm pretty open minded and like the air, I just flow with what is comming at me. Solid materials break, fluids find new ways.

Aside from anthropology and coffee, I love to learn about cosmology, quantum physics, evolutionary biology and neurology; at least I have a grasp of the important concepts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm like Bilbo, the hobbit: I may not seek adventure as a way of life, but i get truly excited when someone invites me to one. I adapt quickly to things.
I'm convinced that meeting locals and experience the world with them is the best way to visit a country.

I am already living with ten in the same house; but hey, more locals. So if you travel alone and don't mind the whole big family stuff and the inevitable mess, you can write to us. My home is near La Sabana, it's a good "center of operations" for any region of Costa Rica. Just need to check availability. PLEASE, I need at least one week to check with my family if they would be ok hosting. We are many people and sometimes is hard.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to search new music, so I know pretty rare groups and I am willling to learn more. We could share a lot. If we ever met I will ask for music. I need music of all kinds: samba, rock, jazz, prog music, traditional folk, lo-fi, latino, gypsy, hula, etc, etc.

I have not watched many movies, but Harold and Maude and The Fantastic Planet are two of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I saved an ONG's library from the rain.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm passionate about coffee, that's a recurrent topic because that's kind of my job and I truly love it. Therefore, I could show you a lot about our specialties, cafés, and the people involved. I share coffee anywhere I go.

I could also share music, books, tours around the city, crazy ideas... We'll see.
