About Me
Hi! My name is Javier (Javi for short), I'm from Spain and just got myself into a 5-month adventure to backpack South East Asia.
Four years ago I backpacked Vietnam for 3 weeks and promised myself I would come back to the region for a longer period of time. After living in Santiago de Chile and Boston (Massachusetts) for the past few years, the time has come to fulfill that promise!
My journey starts in China, where I'll be staying at a friend's place in Shanghai. I'll then head to Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar (not necessarily in that order). Any tips/recommendations are very much welcomed!
I'm an easy going person who enjoys a good talk over a warm cup of coffee/tea as much as a cold beer leading to a crazy night out ;) I'm eager to learn about how other people understand the world, and am always up for a good adventure.
