About Me

Hi there! I'm Javi, a 29-year-old adventurer from Colombia. I'm an outgoing, outdoorsy, and easy-going individual who loves staying active and on the move.

When I'm not working, you'll often find me engaged in various sports and exercises to keep my energy flowing. I'm passionate about trying new restaurants and bars, embarking on invigorating hikes, and relaxing in a hammock. Whether it's a thrilling activity or a quiet moment of relaxation, I'm always up for an adventure and the chance to connect with fellow travelers. Looking forward to sharing experiences and making new friends through Couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here on Couchsurfing for several reasons. First and foremost, this program offers a unique opportunity to connect with new people and learn about their cultures and stories. The hosting service has been incredibly helpful for me, but what truly excites me is the prospect of expanding my social circle and forming meaningful connections with people from around the world. Sharing my own culture with others is something that brings me genuine joy and satisfaction. Couchsurfing allows me to merge my passion for learning about others with the joy of sharing my own experiences and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a diverse taste in music, enjoying genres like cumbia, salsa, rock, reggaeton, hip-hop, and more.

My recent favorite films are "Don't Look Up" and "The Fantastic Mr. Fox."

When it comes to books, I appreciate universal literature and delve into psychotherapy books. Currently, I'm looking forward to reading "Humans" by Matt Haig.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've scaled rocks in the UK, conquered cliffs in Wales, and tackled mountains in Spain. I've also taken exhilarating plunges into Sardine Lake and explored the beauty of Lake Tahoe. The enchanting forests of Graeagle have been a favorite. My latest adventure involved working at a camp in California, broadening my horizons and deepening my love for the world's wonders. More adventures await! 🌍

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a native Spanish speaker, I'm excited to offer language lessons or engage in a language exchange. I'm currently learning English, so let's learn from each other! Additionally, I'm eager to share my travel experiences, recommend must-visit places, and introduce you to delicious dishes from my culture. Let's connect, learn, and create unforgettable memories together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

During my stay, I'd love to share my knowledge about the places I've explored, my skills, and the experiences I've gathered. Sharing with some trip or getting a meal or drink or both is one of the best ways to connect and make lasting memories together.
